E. coli O157:H7 and Salmonella Nucleic Acid (DNA) Detection Kit
• Escherichia coli is one of the many groups of bacteria that live in the intestines of healthy humans and most warm-blooded animals. However, One E. coli strain that causes a severe intestinal infection in humans is known as enterohemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC), is the most common strain to cause illness in people. It will damage the lining of the intestinal wall, causing bloody diarrhea. Salmonella is a common pathogenic bacteria in humans and animals. Contaminated meat, eggs, milk and so on may lead to human disease, mainly causing food poisoning and septicemia.
• The kit can be used for qualitative detection of EHEC(confirm if it is O157:H7)and Salmonella, used to help determine whether the physical object has been contaminated by EHEC or Salmonella, or both.
